Australians booking Mitsui Ocean Cruises’ eight-night southern Japan voyage by July 31, 2026, will receive return flights to Osaka from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Cruise Traveller has launched a free-flight offer for Australians booking an eight-night Japan cruise aboard Mitsui Ocean Fuji in September 2026.
The round-trip sailing departs Kobe on September 19 and visits destinations across southern Japan and South Korea, including Fukuoka, Ibusuki, Tanegashima, Yatsushiro and Busan.
The 458-guest Mitsui Ocean Fuji, formerly Seabourn Odyssey, is operated by Mitsui Ocean Cruises and positioned as an all-inclusive luxury ship with a strong focus on Japanese culture, service and cuisine.
Cruise Traveller, which represents Mitsui Ocean Cruises in Australia, is offering complimentary return flights to Osaka from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane for bookings made by July 31, 2026.
Fares start from A$7,880 per person twin share in a Veranda Suite with a private balcony. The price includes selected shore excursions, Japanese dining, selected beverages, gratuities and Wi-Fi.
Cruise Traveller managing director Joe O’Sullivan said the voyage was designed to offer a more locally focused way to explore Japan.
“A journey with Mitsui Ocean Cruises is a curated cultural discovery experience, blending small-ship intimacy and personal service with meaningful encounters and authentic local insight,” O’Sullivan said.
The itinerary includes Fukuoka, known for its food scene; Ibusuki, noted for hot springs and volcanic sand baths; Tanegashima, with its subtropical beaches; and Yatsushiro, which is known for historic castles. The ship will also call at Busan, where guests can visit seafood markets and other city attractions.
The sailing is scheduled during Japan’s autumn season, when parts of the landscape begin to shift to red and gold.
The free-flight offer applies to eligible new bookings made through Cruise Traveller by July 31, 2026.
