Royal Caribbean spotlights 2026 Asian travel trends with 9 in 10 Aussies heading to Asia this Easter

Asian holidays have emerged as the overwhelming favourite destinations for Australian travellers this Easter, accounting for nine of the top ten international destinations (Booking.com 2026). Royal Caribbean is leaning into this trend by offering discounted holidays that connect Aussies to their favourite Asian destinations.

On Spectrum of the Seas, adventurers can immerse themselves in the best of Japan and China. Guests can dive into the vibrant "kawaii" fashion of Tokyo, explore the town of Shimizu amongst the awe-inspiring backdrop of Mt. Fuji, and walk the legendary red gates of Fushimi Inari in Kyoto, with each locale offering a unique experience for every type of traveller.

Spectrum of the Seas 8-Night Jeju, Maizuru, Niigata & Hakodate holiday from Shanghai | 18 April 2026 From $2,859 per person twin share.

Spectrum of the Seas 8-Night Tokyo, Mt Fuji & Osaka holiday from Shanghai | 22 May 2026 From $2,373 per person twin share.

Thought this would be a great inclusion for any Easter travel deal round-ups or features on trending Asian holidays.

Prices are in AUD, include all taxes and fees, and are subject to availability as of Monday 30 March 2026.

  1. Great article! It’s really interesting to see how Royal Caribbean is expanding its focus on the Asian cruise market in 2026 and beyond with new sailings and tailored itineraries. With ships like Navigator of the Seas and others now offering routes out of key Asian hubs such as Singapore and Shanghai, there’s clearly strong demand for diverse cruise experiences in the region—especially those that combine cultural exploration with world‑class onboard amenities. 24kbet account login
